Port of Pembroke
Port Information, Terminals and Facilities
(Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK)
The port of Pembroke offers both freight and passenger services to Ireland. Currently the port handles freight and aggregate, passenger vessels, as well as oil-rig supply ships. Irish Ferries operates two daily passenger sailings between Pembroke and Rosslare with occasional calls by other vessels.
The port is situated in the south of England and it is one of the most ideal ports to reach Ireland if travelling from London due to excellent links with other parts in Britain by rail and road. Its location on the south western tip of Wales is ideally nearby the M4 motorway.
There are very good and modern facilities at the terminal, which include a large lounge with a TV and vending machines. A two-tier ramp facility makes it easy for truck drivers to quickly load and unload their cargo. Exclusively for cargo transporters an onboard driver's restaurant is available.
Disabled passengers can request boarding assistance in advance by calling +44 8702 424777. The ferry terminal is easy accessible by wheelchairs and there are toilets available for physically handicapped passengers as well.
Pembroke is a picturesque town. It is most famous for the Norman castle, which is one of the UK's finest. Pembroke has huge impressing sea cliffs and excellent beaches. For those who like to be active and adventurous while being in Pembroke, the town attracts many rock climbers as there are good locations for mid-grade climbing.

Irish Ferries' fleet consists of four modern vessels including the Ulysses, which is the globe's biggest car ferry. Rosslare is situated in County Wexford in Ireland.
